Stump standers

Here are LRN2 and LRN4 standing on the stump of a tree a Calaveras Big Trees State Park.  Yet another entry in my famous Camping and Vacation series.  Turns out that trip was the last one in our old trailer.  There are sure a lot of good memories in that thing.  But I’m not really sorry it’s gone.  I think.  Mostly.

Extreme short shrift – it’s late and, besides, I don’t have much to write about today anyway.

Thanks to LRN26 for the excellent biblical interpretation on the Zucchini post.  I think he has something there.

Worked, ate, and commuted today.  Also wrote my weekly letter to LRN1.  Now I’m planning on going to bed.

Tomorrow, we plan to re-secure a post on the little mini-fence that covers up the pool equipment.  Otherwise, not much in the plans.  I’m sure we’ll think of something.

And I’ll leave my Loyal Readers with this shocking food crime news: honey smuggling!

See you Monday.

We did fix the thing. The post. Mini-fence.

Anybody notice that the duties on the import of $40 million worth of honey would have been $80 million?
