Concert stage

Here’s the stage at the concert we attended last weekend.  About which more in a few moments.  Great Art courtesy of the exclusive iPhone-cam and part of my famous Event series.

No posts yet this week.  I got busy.  As usual.  But it was a busy week.  At least a busy weekend.  Let’s see.  On Friday, we went to Stockton to see a Planetarium show at the college there.  Very small planetarium – maybe 25 seats.  Lots of yoots there.  They got extra credit for showing up.  Good, interesting show.  We had fun.  Saturday, some friends gave us tickets to the Modesto Symphony Orchestra Pops concert.  They were playing music from the 70’s.  You know, disco.  I never really expected to hear disco music played by a symphony orchestra, but there’s a first for everything.  And it was really good!  We had a great time.

The week was otherwise pretty much uneventful.  Worked, commuted, ate, and slept.  And that’s about it.  Oh, we went to a friend’s house for dinner and some fun this evening.  Five couples total.  Had a great meal and a nice time.  Tomorrow night, we go to a wedding reception for the children of some friends.  Should be nice.

LRN4 and I finished watching A New Leaf this evening.  Great movie.  Highly recommended.  Then we started with Some Like it Hot.  Another great movie.  Also highly recommended.  Great acting.

And it’s time for bed.  I’ll leave my Loyal Readers with this exciting yet shocking Morrowlife Employment Agency job opportunity: talking Nazi dogs!

See you on Monday.
